Levi's Birthday

It's hard to believe it but on New Years Day my little bean turned 10!

Christmas Day

We went to my parents house on Christmas Day. They gave Levi his presents which included a set of bicycle lights. My Dad told him he'd have to go out to the garage to check they were the right sort to go on his bike (Theo's old rusty BMX that is way too small for him). He opened the garage door and then just stood there with his mouth open as Grandma and Grandad had bought him a brand new one.

Yule Log

We don't have a fire place so instead of a log to burn, we put candles in our log and lit them instead. Levi helped decorate it.

Presents

I found a kit in Lakeland to make these. You make lots of gingerbread stars of different sizes and when you ice them and stack them up they make trees.
The only drawback of being a single parent is it's very difficult putting surprises together without the children finding out so I had to do them when they were asleep. It took me until 4am.
I also gave them some old fashioned bottles of pop, a calendar each and Levi had a queen CD and Theo had a Rolling Stones T-shirt.

The Feast

Theo sprouted a lovely pair of holly horns during dinner.
