Chloe and Julie came for lunch today (why are my friends always late?), then Lisa turned up with my Liberal Democrat posters which went straight in my window. Around 4pm Lisa decided she wanted to go looking for an outfit to wear when she meets Gordon Brown. The children were getting a bit bored so I decided to take them down to Borders to look at the books. The 3 eldest went and sat down and Reuben and Monty found some giant books which we started to read. As I was reading a teenage girl aged about 14/15 sat down and started listening, one by one her 3 friends joined her. I carried on reading as several women and children came and sat down too. By the time Chloe and Lisa arrived the children's section was full of people listening to me read. Levi of course found the whole episode quite embarrasing.
